One weekend, when winter had set in early, things were quite a bit different. Late in October, when the buzz of high season was already gone, snow had fallen over night. It covered the lake and the surrounding Dolomites mountains with a fluffy white layer and we were lucky enough to have the winter landscape all to ourselves.
