While Perú is very well known for its cultural history and the famous ruins of Machu Picchu, there’s also plenty of things to do for people like me who are into wild landscapes and travel along the less beaten path. You can find several mountain ranges offering multi-day treks at high altitudes. Those adventures offer spectacular vistas, fantastic photo opportunities and also a closer look at how people live their lives – far away from cities and their commodities.
