Kangchenjunga, with an elevation of 8.586m comes in third after Mount Everest and K2 on the list of the world’s highest mountains. It lies on the border between Nepal and India’s Sikkim Province. Kangchenjunga is a remote mountain and reaching its base from either side involves a serious multi-day expedition. The approach from its south eastern side led me through the valleys of Khangchendzonga National Park.
